All content on this website — including quizzes, prompts, character archetypes, historical context, AI-generated story templates, and text written for or by users — is the intellectual property of Time Mirror Quiz unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, copy, redistribute, sell, or adapt any part of the quiz system, character results, or story content without written permission or a paid license agreement.

2. 📖 Story Licensing Options

When you use the Time Mirror Quiz and receive an AI-generated story, you receive one of two license types:

✅ A. Personal-Use License (Default – Free or Basic Tier)

You may:

  • Read, enjoy, and share the story privately (e.g. with friends, social media, email)

  • Use the story for personal entertainment only

You may not:

  • Sell, publish, adapt, or publicly distribute the story (e.g. as a book, TV idea, screenplay, podcast, or game)

  • Claim authorship of the original narrative structure or prompt without purchase of a commercial license

💼 B. Creative Rights License (Optional Upgrade – Paid Tier)

You may:

  • Use the story for commercial or creative purposes

  • Modify, adapt, or build upon the story for film, fiction, design, or other creative media

  • Retain full rights to your specific story output (for your result only)

You may not:

  • Reproduce or resell the Time Mirror quiz itself

  • Copy the overall prompt structure or brand system for resale or re-creation

3. 🖼️ Image & Portrait Licensing

If you choose to upload a photo for a custom AI-generated historical portrait:

  • You retain personal-use rights to the image

  • We do not store or resell your uploaded image

  • You must purchase a Portrait Rights License to use the generated image for commercial or promotional purposes

Images are generated using third-party AI tools. Final usage may be subject to those platforms’ terms of use as well.

4. 💡 Creative Use Guidelines

If you are a writer, artist, educator, or developer and wish to use Time Mirror Quiz results as inspiration, you may:

  • Use character ideas and archetypes as loose creative references

  • Credit Time Mirror Quiz if directly using story concepts or names

However, you may not:

  • Build a similar quiz system based on this model

  • Sell derived stories from Time Mirror content without appropriate licensing
